Greater Fort Lauderdale Sister Cities International Celebrates its First Sister City in Asia at the Annual Fort lauderdale Boat Parade Celebration
The Delegation including the Governor of Kaohsiung County, the Honorable Chiu-Hsing Yang, traveled from Taiwan to be part of this celebration. The Governor was honored during a special ceremony and received the Key to the City from the City of Fort Lauderdale as well as a recognition plate from GFLSCI. Also present, was the Consul of Taiwan in Miami, Director General Mr. Miguel Tsao who was also recognized at the event.

Ms. Nuccia McCormick, GFLSCI Chairman Emeritus, recognizing The Honorable Chiu-Hsing Yang, Governor of Kaohsiung County in Taiwan for the new twinning of City of Fort Lauderdale and Kaohsiung County.	The Traditional Lion Dance brings prosperity and good luck for the year to come.
Club Italia Opening at the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show: A New Alliance is Born!
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Opening of the Club Italia Lounge The Club Italia Inauguration Ceremonies also featured a flag raising and ribbon cutting ceremony, an introduction presentation from Undersecretary of State, The Honorable Adolfo Urso, a press conference with CEO and Chairman of Show Management, Mr. Efrem Zimbalist III, as part of the speaker’s panel, and an a photography exhibit by Nautica Editrice entitled From Dolce Vita to Myth – Italian Shipbuilding: A Success Story.	Signing of the Proclamation between Show Management and UCINA One notable event which marked the Boat Show this year, was the Opening Ceremonies of the Club Italia Lounge hosted by the Italian Trade Commission on February 12th. This inauguration proved to be very special as it included the signing of a Proclamation of Joint Cooperation between The Italian Marine Industry Association (UCINA) and Show Management, organizers of The Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show.
